Berlin has a very special new place for the exclusive moments in life: The elegant Moët & Chandon Bar Berlin on the legendary food floor ‘Die Sechste’ of KaDeWe has recently opened, serving an exquisite selection of finest champagnes, cocktails, and delicate snacks – a bar of its own kind. Following the opening of the very first Moët & Chandon Bar at renowned Harrods in London last year, the first one in Germany has followed in the famous department store KaDeWe in Berlin. But let’s quickly rewind a few decades for a little trip back to a time long before iHeartBerlin: Back in the late 2000s, the KaDeWe was already an It-place that enjoyed worldwide fame and was a favorite for all Berliners. Especially the gourmet floor convinced me. It was pure fascination when I was younger. For years this became a special place for me where I could escape the daily life every now and then to treat myself. Who would have thought that almost two decades later, I would have the honor of announcing the opening of the new Moët & Chandon Bar Berlin here on iHeartBerlin. I am truly delighted!

The new Place-to-be in Berlin
The Moët & Chandon Bar Berlin plays with a completely new concept: in addition to the latest champagne varieties, there are also special rarities from the unique infinity wine cellar, as well as sophisticated champagne cocktails such as the Royal Red and Punch Romaine. Even the small appetite can be satisfied with selected bar snacks, such as a Deconstructed Currywurst, a Berlin classic with a new twist, or a Bouchon Précieux, a champagne-cork-shaped brioche with Comté-Hollandaise. The design of the elegant Moët & Chandon Bar Berlin promises a new impetus for the famous luxury department store and is an eye-catcher with the right amount of sophistication. It was created by the internationally renowned design studio Yabu Pushelberg based in New York: the architects have developed a distinctive setting with radiant rooms dominated by golden tones and light-colored wood. Behind the transparent infinity wine cellar, where all the special wines are stored, there is a slightly more private lounge in velvety red – here the luxurious moments become even more unforgettable.

If you would like to treat yourself to a unique experience like this, you can now do so at the Moët & Chandon Bar Berlin on the sixth floor of KaDeWe every Monday to Saturday from noon to 10 pm.
