This week we have a special card game exhibition by Dandy Diary, a pub choir tour, the last Blitz party for a while, the launch of a new fashion label and the long awaited annual Sparkle Army Party. These and many more events and parties after the jump.
This week we are getting a bit of a rest of all those Berlin Something Weeks as we are right between the art week and the social media week. It’s definately more calm, but I’m glad, less to chose from sometimes is a blessing. This week we have some great exhibition opening, workshops, talks and of course parties! The weekly events right after the jump.
This week there is sooo much going on it’s going to be one of those where you plan on doing all of it and then end up doing none because there are just to many events to attend to. Well, still you shouldn’t miss the Planningtorock DJ set today, Artconnect anniversary event program on Thursday til Sunday, the Bodi Bill book launch and the anniversary party of Sing Blackbird. These and many more events after the jump.
What’s up in Berlin this week? The DMY, that’s what’s up! And along with the big design festival at Tempelhof Airport come a truckload of satellite events all over the city. We also have some nice exhibition openings this week as well as a very awesome Berghain party with the hottest acts in town. These and more events after the jump.

After the wonderful Anna-Lena from artfridge has supplied us with cool art events in the last two months I will now take over again with the weekly event guide, a mix of art, fashion, movie, culture and party. This week is so full already that I’m almost overwhelmed with my first guide. Have a look at my selection after the jump!
This week have some more opportunities to get awesome Christmas gifts for you at various sales and art events. Musician Brian Ferry is having his first art exhibition in Berlin and the Blitz party is throwing a Christmas party in New Romantics style… This and much more in the event guide after the jump!
What do we love about our city? What makes us wander around in search for adventure, fun, love or even happiness? Is it the expectation that we share with others about a better living? Is it the sparkle of unexpected beauty that we see through the cracks of the walls and the dirt on the street. When I arrived and settled in Berlin- Friedrichshain seven years ago it felt like coming home from a long journey. And this feeling never left my side.
One of the most amazing experience I made a couple of weeks ago when I had the chance to share all my favourite places in my neighborhood with my a slightly snobby, but very lovely Mitte-friends. And seeing my home kiez through their eye’s made me even prouder of where and how I live. We passed by all my favourite spots and documented it with the iPhone for the new Amble with Louis Vuitton App.
With Amble it is easily possible to create urban tours and share it with your friends. You can also follow the footsteps of other Amblers like Sofia Coppola, Anna de la Russo, Rachel Weisz and many more. After the jump you can see the lovely tour we made through Friedrichshain. Download the Amble with Louis Vuitton App to follow our tour or create your own Amble.
This week we have a couple of interesting readings (in German though), concerts by Digitalism and Heatstick, some promissing urban art exhibitions and the birthday Blitz party. This and much more after the jump.
Flamingos by Swisscan
This is the fall of club openings. After last months opening of Prince Charles and last weeks Gretchen and S.K. Robinson, this week the people who were and are responsible for Rio, Scala, Broken Hearts Club and King Size are opening their new club Flamingo at Monbijou Park. Excited!! More events after the jump.
Chicks On Speed
Oh my god, this is one of those weeks where the event guide takes me forever to finish because of the art week, Berlin Festival and Berlin Music Week taking place at the same time. That is simply an overload of events, worse than Fashion Week! Okay, let’s cut right to it. There is a massive amount of art events going on. We have selected the four main big shows as well as a few smaller ones. You should definately check out our art blog experts from Castor & Pollux and Private Curators to find out more about all of this. Look after the jump for all art, music and what-not event recommendations…
