Das p103 werd ich wohl mal ausprobieren.
LG
There’s lots of nice Turkish stuff in Schoeneberg!
Levante on Goltzstrasse for home-made goezleme
Rueya on Haupstrasse for chicken gemuese kebab, or Imren further up for beef doener
Also the baker Gumus on Haupstrasse has really nice breads and rolls.
Nice article. Schöneberg is a very lovely area with cool shops and some great cafés.
Check also Taubenschlag, Mokalola and Nosh all located in Leberstrasse 🙂
You forgot Stagger Lee bar… Nollendorfstraße 27. Awesome bar in the area.
Thank you for all your feedback, completions and tips! Memo for the next time 🙂
The P103 and most of the galleries in Potsdamer Straße are not actually Schöneberg but Mitte (Tiergarten). Good tips nevertheless.
My favorite thing about living in Schöneberg, is being across from the beautiful Alter St.-Matthäus-Kirchhof where the Brothers Grimm and Rio Reiser (among others) are buried. (Between Monumentenstr. and Großgörschenstr. – main entrance on Großgörschenstr.)
Barkett on the corner of Monumentenstr and Czeminskistr! Beautiful bar, gigs and yummy vegan brunch on Sundays.
Another great bar in Schöneberg that wasn’t mentioned is Sally Bowles on Eisenacher Straße. Great atmosphere and staff
thanks for the tip! Will be added to the list of Part 2 🙂
If you didn’t try it yet, go to Rüya Gemüse Kebab and you will quickly forget Mustafa. Rüya is simply a dream! It is the best Kebab in Berlin <3
And if you wanna travel to Cuba for one night, is not in Havanna Club where you should go but in Varadero! Great bar/ restaurant with 100% cuban soul and cheap drinks 😉
Best vegan restaurant of Berlin is missing here: Chay Village in Eisenacher Straße. Also best Cocktails are to be found in Classic Salut Bar (but Stagger Lee is also great, as mentioned above already)
Visit the lovely Garden Café
Cafe Eule im Park am Gleisdreieck
Das Schönste in Schöneberg ist das Café Eule im Gleisdreieck Park
Facebook cafe Eule
My Favorite Garden cafe
You failed to mention that Schöneberg was basically the place to be in the 80’s. As in it was Mitte before Mitte, and as ‘cool’ as Xberg is now.
My pick for the best bar is Kuckucksei! With pictures of favorite communists, owned by Nomi and has the best bartender in Schöneberg “Jonas”. Barbarossa strasse 5a between Golz Strasse and Barbarossa Platz. Also plays great music and before the pandemic, was open until 3AM.
