Obwohl Berlin immer noch viel billiger als Paris oder London ist, wollen auch hier manche Leute sparen. Nicht unbedingt immer nur weil man es muss, sondern manchmal auch als bewusste Entscheidung gegen den kapitalistischen Wahn des übermäßigen Konsumieren. Back to basics, sozusagen. I will add to the food section part : plan your meals! Every week I sit with my pinterest moodboard, cookbooks or even the list of the meal I know how to do, and I choose 5-6 dishs. I make the list of what I need to buy, and then I go to the grocery shop. As I’m alone, every dish will be enough for 2 meals.
It’s a very good method because I don’t buy things that I won’t need, I don’t waste food and I save time when I just have to look on the list to know what to cook.
Using the U-Bahn instead of Uber and budget things, thanks Bill Gates, I don’t know how I would survive without you. Put advice about cheap place to eat, buy food, watch a movie, go out, buy a bike… This is only useful for people that just started living on their own.
